Dr. Lynn Kohlmeier

Dr. Lynn Kohlmeier received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and attended Stanford University for medical school and her endocrine fellowship. She completed her internal medicine residency and post-doc in metabolic bone disease at the New England Deaconess and Brigham & Women’s Hospitals respectively, at Harvard University, and while there, received a Young Investigator Award for her research involving the calcium-sensing receptor.

 

Dr Kohlmeier is director of the non-profit, Strides For Strong Bones, providing community and professional education and screening, and medical director of the monthly CME Bone Health TeleECHO: Strides For Strong Bones, Spokane-San Diego. She is currently providing virtual endocrine care for local charity donations as well as for insurance coverage, is an executive board member for Advances in Mineral Metabolism/American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, and is involved in research studies on hypoparathyroidism and osteoporosis.
